What a great idea! I’ve been thinking about this as well. I don’t remember how I stumbled upon your blog but I too am a Wisconsinite (or at least a fellow packer fan?)

I just wanted to say— I have gone down the road of trying to find less expensive Blundstones… I had wanted them for 5 years but couldn’t bear to spend the money. My experience with the the off-brand ones (I had a pair of Kamiks) and now the actual Blundstones I bought last fall is, you get what you pay for. It is an investment, but after being uncomfortable and cold in my knock-offs, I finally gave in (as someone who never spends that much money on a clothing or accessory item)and I’m so glad I did. There’s no better versatile boot. I ended up wearing mine all winter. My dad used to say “When you buy quality, you only cry once.” It’s true in this instance!

Okay that’s the end of my soapbox 😂 Haha. Thanks for all the recommendations!

I have some perfecrly fine snow boots, so maybe I'll have to save up this winter and buy the Blundstones next!

Also coming here to say that Blundstones are SO WORTH IT. I wore mine literally every single day from September 1 to March 31 (more than 200 wears) and they are still in excellent shape (probs have at least 2 more years of intense wear, if not 3-5). The sticker shock is a lot to handle for the initial purchase, but by the end of their life, the cost-per-wear will be pennies.

Oh I agree with this. I finally decided to fork over the 🤑 for the Blundstones and they are amazing. Worth the money for sure. But it sure was a long road getting to that point.

I love this idea, especially re: fall wardrobe. I am thinking leggings (I will die on the hill that leggings are pants) and crew neck sweatshirts, and changing up the footwear to keep it fun. Re: reading/wellness, I've blocked out my Wednesday evenings (i.e. handed over the reigns for bedtime routine) for dedicated reading-to-learn time... full credit there going to Classics Club!

I loved your summer capsules and have been going through a season that needs a little more structure than the last (hello 1 year old!) and definitely will be working on my own for fall!

Whew, I so relate to the need for structure with a tiny one underfoot. I'd love to hear what works for you!
