It’s tradition. Every year around February 14th, a major publication puts forth a list of romance novels with at least one selection that is decidedly NOT a romance, like The Notebook or Wuthering Heights or Me Before You. If you’re an avid romance reader, it’s best to roll your eyes and move along.
