Sunday Collection: a new fall candle & my eating bucket list
the fall book releases keep piling up
My husband and I are trying to prioritize at home dates after our son goes to bed: renting Barbie, catching up on Only Murders in the Building, or having an actual adult conversation before we pass out. Though we’d prefer a date night out, it’s just too much for our budget right now, and I know many families can relate. Fortunately, the fall season lends itself to cuddling at home, seeking simple pleasures, and saving our pennies. I feel more content as the weather turns cooler, savoring each baking project and family activity, and I relish the slow fall weekends prior to a hectic holiday season.
This week’s Sunday Collection
My one fall decor purchase sits on our mantle, glowing and smelling perfectly pumpkin-y. Totally worth the $10.
I can’t stop listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s new album, and
created the perfect playlist for my fellow nostalgic millennial pop punk girls.I love the idea of a seasonal EATING bucket list from
. I’m looking forward to apple crisp, chili, roasted squash, and sourdough cinnamon rolls. Can you believe I’ve never read Red, White & Royal Blue? I know. I’m remedying the situation right now in preparation for an in person romance book club, and while the book itself is delightful, I’m so excited to meet new book pals and discuss swoon worthy reads together.
I just narrowed down my TBR, how could you do this to me, Lit Hub???
What’s making you feel most content right now? I’d especially love to hear any TV, movie, or at home date recommendations in the comments.

thanks for the shoutout babe! can’t wait to hear your review of Red, White, and Royal Blue!
I can relate to this! We’ve been doing more movie nights at home as well. I found some theme night plans on Facebook for Halloween movie, game, and food pairings that we may do as a family.
